Mixed Emotions!!
I have so many mixed emotions!! Besides living with my inlaws, the whole house thing, one of me near and dear friends is getting MARRIED!!! (oh and the sad part is she is MOVING to LAS VEGAS) I am so sad that she is leaving. I go see her at least 2 times a week at her work ( which is also J's work. It's all his fault we met) and we can talk about EVERYTHING under the sun. We share alot of the same interests... music, crafts, and most importantly...DR PRPPER!! I am so happy for her and her new family, but sad that she is leaving. I Love you Lighting-Strikes!!! Good Luck in SUNNY Las Vegas!!

It's Been WAY too Long
Holy Moly!! It has been literally months since I have blogged. (not that anyone reads it.) Well, a lot has happened since I wrote last. We had a great summer, I did Girl Scout camp, spent some time in Montana with my parents, we started a Relay for Life team and had a bake sale, and a garage sale. ( we started it the end of May and the Relay was the beginning of July) I thoroughly enjoyed my summer off.
School started and we headed up to Montana for the University of Montana Football game, and life has been crazy since. We talked about what are next step should be and we have come to the conclusion that we want a house of our very own!! Exciting right?? Well, we have great friends that have given us some super advise over the years and one of our friends encouraged us to apply for the " Non-Profit" homes. ( the ones that you have to help build with other families) So, reluctantly we called and asked about it. We figured because we didn't have any kids we wouldn't qualify. That seems to be the main "qualification" now a days. But, we fall right into the qualifications!! I am so excited!! Now the hard stuff... PAPERWORK!! And there is a TON!!! But, I am organized enough that what they have asked for so far, I have been able to get in just a couple hours. In the mean time we have moved in with Jared's parents to save money... So far so good, we are saving. Had a meeting yesterday with the NPH ( NON-Profit Housing) and we are shooting for JUNE!!! to start building!! I can hardly stand it. I am so excited to have my own home!!
I PROMISE to update as we go with this process!! Maybe even throw in some pictures!! I hope all is well with all of you!
Until next time...
Always,
Danielle

Relay for Life Bake Sale... SUCCESS!!
My heart is full of gratitude! We had a Bake Sale for our Relay for Life team, and the support was overwhelming! People would come by and buy a $0.75 cookievand give us $5.00 or $10.00 worth of treats and give us $20.00. It's amazing to me how generous people are. I am truly grateful to all that helped either by donating treats or buying treats. Our GRAND total was... $150.00!! I couldn't be happier!! Thanks everyone! !

Finally!! An update!!
Well, where do I start? It has been so cold and rainy here all winter/spring. Ian really tires of it. In April, Jaredand I went to California with ALL of Jared's family!! There was 18 of us total and we had a great time! The weather was PERFECT! ! Our coldest day was 68 degrees! It was heavenly. We got home and froze. I'm done with school for the summer, and enjoying my time off. I was talking to my sister Lyda last week and she was getting things together for her Relay for Life to do a BBQ. I was asking her about it and she told me how much fun it is, and encouraged me to do it, I of course told her that I didn't know what I was doing. She then said look online for relays in Cache County- she's so smart. I got the mans email address and sent him a note, that was about 1130 Thursday night. When I woke up Friday I had emails from the 2 in charge of the Relay here on July! So, I am now the captain of the team... Together We Can...Huntin' for a CURE!! I 'm so excited!! I have had so much support from my family and friends. This weekend we are going to Moroni for a neices birthday and. we are doing our first fundraiser - a BAKE SALE! My very supportive sister-in-law got her friends and neighbors to bake goodies and donate them to us. Our team goal is only $1000.00, but seems doable. Something that has really touched my heart is I was asked why I Relay? I asked myself why I wanted to do it, and the only thing I can come up with is, what if? What if that was my husband, my daughter, or son, my mother or father? But it was my Boppa, my granny, my Aunt Serri, my cousin Kevin. And the many others that have fought the fight, some were able to survive and other's weren't, that's why I'm doing it so everyone is able to survive and be with the ones that love and miss them so much. To all that have been fighting, is why I'm relaying!!

Some 2011 Goals
We are already a month into 2011... and it has flown by. I can't believe how fast time goes by, and how busy we are. One of my goals this year is to slow down and take time to"smell the roses" slow down and enjoy life. We don't have anything special planned until we see what the good ol' IRS is going to do to our account, if we end up not paying in taxes, we are going to go to Disneyland in April, with Jared's entire family. There is a total of 10 adults and 8 kids ranging from 8 years to 9 months! I keep telling myself that it will be ok, I get bad anxiety when we are all together and the kids are screaming, the parents are trying to make them happy. I don't know, I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I want to spend that much money being around a few people in the family that have made it known that they don't like me. But, like I always do, put a good front on for Jared. Anyway, I love my job and I am looking forward to having my summer off. I want to go spend sometime with my family in Montana, go down to Moroni and spend sometime with my nieces and sister in law. I'm just exited to not feel tied down! Another goal is to keep up with my blogging better, I love doing it and love reading all of your blogs, its just something I need to make time to do. Well, I hope 2011 is a great year for all my friends and family, I LOVE YOU ALL! Until next time ~ Danielle
